  7. * A longstanding confusing description of what --pickaxe option of
  8.   git-diff does has been clarified in the documentation.
  9.  
  10. * "git-blame -S" did not quite work near the commits that were given
  11.   on the command line correctly.

  13. * "git diff --pickaxe-regexp" did not count overlapping matches
  14.   correctly.

  16. * "git diff" did not feed files in work-tree representation to external
  17.   diff and textconv.
  18.  
  19. * "git-fetch" in a repository that was not cloned from anywhere said
  20.   it cannot find 'origin', which was hard to understand for new people.

  22. * "git-format-patch --numbered-files --stdout" did not have to die of
  23.   incompatible options; it now simply ignores --numbered-files as no files
